Lasst uns die Hoffnung nicht verlieren. | Let's not loose hope.

Nach dem zehnten "Schauen & Verdauen"

dieses so prägnanten Gedichtes sind wir

zunehmend berührt und am Weinen.

Lasse diesen Moment nicht an dir vorüberziehen.

Rainer & Kerstin

After ten times of watching and leaning into this slammed poetry,

we feel touched and are crying more and more.

Don't let this wonder-filled moment pass by too easily (only German, sorry).

Zuhause. | Home.

...this is happening 100m away from our doorstep - we are still in awe and overwhelmed by His Creation...even after all those 8 years we are privileged to live here.

Wissenschaft. | Science.

Liebe Freunde,

Rainer & Kerstin.

--

Dear friends

take time to read.
It's worth reading it.
Trust us.

Rainer & Kerstin.

Professor : You are a Christian, aren’t you, son ?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor: So, you believe in GOD ?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Professor : Is GOD good ?
Student : Sure.
Professor: Is GOD all powerful ?
Student : Yes.
Professor: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to GOD to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn’t. How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent.)

Professor: You can’t answer, can you ? Let’s start again, young fella. Is GOD good?
Student : Yes.
Professor: Is satan good ?
Student : No.
Professor: Where does satan come from ?
Student : From … GOD …
Professor: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student : Yes.
Professor: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?
 Student : Yes.
Professor: So, who created evil ?

(Student did not answer.)

Professor: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor: So, who created them ?

(Student had no answer.)

Professor: Science says you have 5 Senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son, have you ever seen GOD?
Student : No, sir.
Professor: Tell us if you have ever heard your GOD?
Student : No , sir.
Professor: Have you ever felt your GOD, tasted your GOD, smelt your GOD? Have you ever had any sensory perception of GOD for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.
Professor: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student : Yes.

Professor : According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.
Professor: Yes, faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Professor: Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?
Professor: Yes.
Student : No, sir. There isn’t.

(The lecture theater became very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There was pin-drop silence in the lecture theater.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?
Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light. But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it is, well you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?
Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man ?
Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Professor: Flawed ? Can you explain how?

Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good GOD and a bad GOD. You are viewing the concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.
Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.

Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Professor: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument was going.)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor. Are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class was in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?

(The class broke out into laughter. )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room was silent. The Professor stared at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Professor: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.
Student : That is it sir … Exactly ! The link between man & God is FAITH. That is all that keeps things alive and moving.

P.S.:
By the way, that student is said to be Albert Einstein...

Gott sagte 'Nein'. | God said 'No'.

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No. His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No. I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No. I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

Ostern. | Easter. | Pascua.

In diesen Tagen wünschen wir all' unseren Familien, Freunden, Verwandten, Bekannten und Lesern FROHE OSTERN.

Was genau feiern wir Menschen eigentlich?

Johannes 3,16

In those days, we are wishing all our families, relatives, friends, acquaintances and readers

HAPPY EASTER.

What is it exactly is that we celebrate as human beings?

We celebrate a scandal of grace...unheard of...unthinkable...till today...if you admit it or not, Jesus died for you and me...out of unconditional love.

He gave himself to take your sin & shame (as we all have these in our lifes)... and:
If you would like to, you can just recieve that...THAT is the message of Easter.

Fokussiere Dich! | Focus!

In a mother’s womb were two babies.

One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?” The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”
“Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”

The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”

The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”

The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”

Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

Jesus.

Rainer & Kerstin.

When asked, "Who is Jesus?," Bono from U2 answered, “That is the defining question of what Christianity is about... Either he is the Son of God… or he was nuts.”

See what Bono says here..

Encouraging greetings into the fresh week send

Wunder geschehen. | Miracles do happen.

[English version see below.]

Liebste Familien, Freunde & Bekannte,

Unser Dank gilt unserem himmlischen Schöpfer, Euch allen
weltweit im Gebet einstehenden Familien und Freunden,
unserer befreundeten Hebamme Frederike und dem gesamten
Klinikpersonal.

Vater Rainer, Mutter Kerstin & Sohnemann Noah.

P.S.: Dieser Brief bewegt in diesem Zusammenhang unsere
Herzen:

"Mein geliebter Sohn Noah,

geschaffen habe.

Dein Vater."

(1) Apostelgeschichte 17,28 - (2) Jeremia 1,5 - (3) Epheser 1,4-5 - (4) Psalm 139,14 - (5) 1. Mose 1,27
(6) Psalm 139,13 - (7) Psalm 139,1 - (8) Psalm 139,2 - (9) Matthäus 10,29-31 - (10) Johannes 10,10

Dearest families, friends & acquaintances,

an unbelivable miracle has occured to us - since 1 May, our daughter Loah has a brother.

With his attractive lips, Noah's tempting way of staring at us and 3540 grams on his rips, we were entrusted to welcome him to our family.
From now on, "labour day" has a whole different meaning to us...!

All our gratitude goes to our heavenly Father, to our friend and midwife Frederike, to all of you who have been standing in prayer for days and months all around the world and all
staff at hospital.

It has been proven again: Miracles do happen. GAP = God Answers Prayers.

Exhausted, endless grateful and cheerful greetings send
